aiSee reads a textual, easy-to-read, and easy-to-learn graph specification and automatically calculates a customizable graph layout. This layout is then displayed, and can be interactively explored, printed, or exported to various formats. aiSee features 15 basic graph layout algorithms, recursive subgraph nesting, fish-eye views, and an animation interface. It has been optimized to handle huge graphs automatically generated by applications (e.g. compilers).
This release features improved layout of clustered subgraphs and improved exporting of wrapped subgraphs to PostScript and SVG. Support for SVG namespaces has been added. The default values of several graph attributes have changed; new attributes have been added. Several bugs have been fixed. GDL syntax highlighting packages are now freely available for many popular open source text editors/viewers.
