Mac OS X Encoding Plethora 1.2
Jul 10, 2002 07:28AM
Contributed by: Roger Jolly
Download: 1.1 MB Stuffit Archive

These Applescripts let you encode or decode items by just dropping them on the script. If the item is already compressed the script will decode it, otherwise it will encode. They are a lot better at working with long filenames and "strange" characters than Aladdin Systems Stuffit Expander.

Version 1.2 includes numerous improvements. The scripts now check and warn when a resourcefork is about to be lost, disk images can now be compressed, there is a general decoder, new cpio and tgz scrips, and above all a contextual menu. Also solves the problem of the missing zip binaries on some systems, by including a zip tools installer.
