Put any information you want in the dock! This software package contains two items, a broadcasting application that publishes strings over the network, and a receiver dockling that displays the strings in the dock. The applications can be used on the same machine to put information in the dock, or it can be used to publish information on one computer to be displayed on other computers on your local network. It is good for sending stock quotes, weather data, sensor data from a sampling server, etc. A "classic" version of the Broadcaster application is available on my web site.
