PowerGuardian Personal Update 1.0.4

Download: gzipped disk image

PowerGuardian monitors a connected UPS (uninteruptable power supply) and if the power event is sustained, safely shuts down your computer, even saving your open files and work-in-progress. PowerGuardian works with UPS's from most popular manufacturers (Belkin, APC, Powerware, Best Power, Tripplite). With the addition of a USB-to-Serial Converter from Keyspan, PowerGuardian will work with a wide range of serial UPS products; you are no longer restricted to the few models that support USB.

We've added to the list of serial UPS's we support
The new UPS's are

  • BlackoutBuster
  • CyberPower SL and AVR
  • Opti-UPS PS/ES
  • ConeXt AVR
  • APC Back-UPS CS (serial)
  • Liebert UPSStation GX
