"Synk is a popular backup and synchronization utility."

There is a small problem with Synk and OS X that I have not yet solved. If there is nothing in the trash and you have chosen to have Synk move obsolete items to the trash, they will be moved there but will not show up until you log out and back in again. (They are there if you list the files in the command line: ls ~/.Trash ).

An apparent workaround is to leave something in the trash before running Synk. I am really sorry about this, but I am currently doing what is documented to do. I will be trying to work a few tricks over the next few days, but am going on holidays for a week and a half on June 25, so please be patient because I am not planning to work on Synk during that week.
